Then watched John’s talk in West Virginia and liked his style and story telling ability–
much like MU J School author Ron Powers of my generation.

I am happy that he has taken the monumental challenge to tell the less well-known story of the U.S. Army’s vast role in the reconquest of the Pacific. Can’t wait to read this and the subsequent volume.
