These issues NEED to be worked out, before taking out of a laboratory environment. These caveats are coming from an experienced P.E. with a M.S.E.E.

I wonder if anyone has considered the SAFETY of working with 12.5 Kv? From my (old-timer) experience, you really don’t want the average person dealing with connectors rated (as a minimum!) at 30 Kv!
