At lot of other colleges and universities are cancelling fall breaks and ending the Fall semester at Thanksgiving.

Our athletics program is still developing its specific return-to-campus plan. We hope to have more information to share soon.

It is to be expected that the influx of students will cause that to rise. It is not unreasonable for S&T to reopen, but there is no mention of impact on the community or of planning with Rolla to minimize the impact or to prevent local hostility toward our returning students. A good start would be to provide green S&T masks for students, faculty, and staff; and to strongly encourage that they be worn off-campus.
