Congratulations on being awarded the Kummer gift to establish the – not – for profit Kummer Institute Foundation for innovation, entrepreneurship and development. This gift will serve as a ‘North Star’ for Missouri S&T and the broader Missouri community based on a vision for a future where all Americans will have lifelong access to high quality STEM education and strengthens our national commitment to equity and diversity, to evidence-based practice, and to engagement with the national STEM community through a nationwide collaboration with learners, families, educators, communities, and employers..  
I am happy that someone from the COA to BCOE at the University of California, Riverside shares in this distinguished honor, and I am even happier that it was you. The award appropriately reflects the endless hours you have spent achieving the goals, pathways and objectives that make for a better humanity.
