Dr. Cowan received his BS in Chemical Engineering from MSM (now Mo S&T) in 1940.
He was Editor of the Missouri Miner. Dr. Cowan was inducted, posthumously, into the Academy of Chemical Engineers at S&T. He passed away in 1974.
